Anthony Chase Paintings

Anthony Chase is a masterful painter whom we have worked with for almost a decade now. His exquisite plaster finishes and decorative painting have made him a name in both NYC and the Catskills. It may be his recent work as a fine artist that is perhaps his most impressive feat yet. “The paintings in Chase’s show “Patina” offer layers of plaster colored with earth pigments and marble dust, troweled, combed, shaped, smoothed, and polished…. The abstract compositions that make up “Patina” put forth a deceptively simple beauty."
